Levered Learning announces the appointment of two new members to the company’s board of directors. Ed Colligan and Thomas Aurelio Davis will join the board as independent directors.
Ed Colligan brings a broad array of product development, sales and marketing, and general-management expertise through his experience as President and COO of Handspring, Inc., and CEO of Palm, Inc.
Thomas Aurelio Davis brings close to 30 years of experience in the public and private education sector with expertise in sales and business development. Davis is also a champion of equity in education through his affiliations with the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators, Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents, and most recently, the Center for Educational Innovation.
“Mitch, Joshua & the team at Levered Learning, through hard work, determination, and extensive testing, have developed the best 3-6 grade math solution in the K-12 marketplace,” remarked Tom Aurelio Davis. “Mitch’s experience as a classroom teacher and his passion for equity and inclusion shine throughout the math platform. Levered gets results. Period. Students, teachers, and parents all love working on the Levered platform, and to me, that is the Triple Crown in education.”
Ed Colligan added, “I’m honored to join the Levered team on its mission to improve math learning for children, especially those in underserved communities. The Levered program is a huge upgrade in the way math is taught and performance tracked and should become the standard approach for teaching all subject matter. The Central Coast Angels are excited to invest in such a game-changing platform.”
