Hundreds of local businesses and residents are already taking advantage of Cruzio Internet’s locally-owned and -operated, fiber-backed Internet services throughout Santa Cruz County. Just recently however, Cruzio lit direct fiber connections to both the University Business Park at 2801 Mission Street and Granite Creek Business Center in Scotts Valley. This type of expansion will pave the way for future fiber in the surrounding areas and will aid Cruzio to getting one step further to fast and efficient Gigabit broadband distribution throughout the county.

“Cruzio’s fiber broadband investment has been an exceptional asset to the University Business Park (UBP) and has allowed tenants to get the fastest speeds possible at an affordable rate. Cruzio has been of tremendous help and I would recommend them as the primary provider for any of my buildings,” said William Ow, Property Owner, University Business Park.

Want fiber? Take the survey!

On June 23, the City of Santa Cruz and Cruzio Internet agreed to explore a municipal Gigabit fiber network with the goal of serving the entire city. Cruzio is encouraging everyone in the City of Santa Cruz to take a brief survey at santacruzfiber.com to express how interested they would be in Gigabit broadband speeds. They will take the information back to City Council in September for approval to begin design and construction.

“Cruzio’s mission has always been to bring the best Internet available, to everyone in Santa Cruz, at prices everyone can afford. We’re extremely excited that by working with the City, the goal of ubiquitous fiberoptic coverage is closer than ever before,” said Peggy Dolgenos, Co-Founder, Cruzio Internet,

As the plans of fiber expansion throughout the city continues, Cruzio encourages those who are not in the city limits to talk to their elected officials about making fiber expansion throughout the rest of the county a reality. Cruzio offers free site evaluations to see if your location is eligible for service. To learn more about connecting your home, office or building to Cruzio Broadband, visit broadband.cruzio.com.
