If one believes in lending a hand during these trying times, results in being happier, more productive and more altruistic, than one’s behavior will bear that out. How one helps in times of crisis has been linked to how others display great relief in care. In short, acts of kindness go a long way. The way you help others affects the way you think, feel and act.

Health care partitioners have long observed that renewed attention to appearance is a sign of recovery in depressed patients. At present, a handful of forthright organizations are reporting such positive benefits from their services to those in need. Let’s face it; the world has landed upon a new paradigm shift. There is a fresh worldview underlying the theories and methodology of the particular scientific subject. I am thrilled to see individuals as well as organizations doing their best help during this global crisis. I am happy to report that I recently came upon a brand that is doing just that!

Apostrophe, a tele-dermatology skincare startup, is helping tackle the nationwide hand sanitizer shortage by producing the World Health Organization’s (WHO) hand sanitizer formula. Their team has shifted all available capacity at their compounding pharmacy to make as much hand sanitizer as possible and selling it at close to the cost of production.

Each two pack of 2 oz hand sanitizers will cost $15, with all profits from the sale donated to the WHO COVID-19 Response Fund. This fund specifically provides medical equipment to health workers, educates communities with the latest science-based information, and fast-tracks the development of vaccines and treatments.

“Keeping your hands clean is an essential part of preventing transmission and keeping yourself and others safe against COVID-19. The FDA has asked compounding pharmacies to help alleviate this shortage so we wanted to answer the call. We all just want to do what we can to help,”explains Ben Holber, Co-founder and CEO of Apostrophe

Apostrophe’s hand sanitizer will be available at sanitizer.apostrophe.com starting Friday, March 27th, with nationwide shipping in place so people can receive the sanitizer at home.
